Language Support

When English isn’t a child’s first language, the school collaborates with Ardmore’s language division, which has supported young learners for over thirty-five years. Before enrollment, Cognita’s international team conducts an informal online assessment to gauge proficiency and design a tailored study plan. Ardmore prepares international students weeks or months before arrival, then maintains support through online lessons during initial adaptation. The recently launched Ardmore X platform enables both independent practice and instructor-led group sessions.

Partnerships

Through its collaboration with neighboring London Zoo, the school offers students regular behind-the-scenes access where they meet zoologists and witness evolutionary principles firsthand rather than through textbooks alone. Meanwhile, teachers benefit from world-class professional development programs through partnership with University College London’s Faculty of Education.

Choosing a Path

From fifth grade onward, a dedicated coordinator guides families through senior school selection, offering personalized consultations that examine each student’s strengths and interests. Subject specialists prepare pupils for diverse examination pathways—whether they’re heading to other schools within the network or prestigious independent institutions beyond it. Families also receive access to Tooled Up Education, where British expert Dr. Kathy Weston provides evidence-based parenting advice through videos and podcasts.
